Flexible transducer extension?

Hey everyone. It seems like most of the users of this forum are Spanish speakers, but I'm hoping that there might be a few english speakers lurking.

I'd like to use the Px script on my own vehicle, (2000 VW Jetta 2.0L AEG) but because of the intake manifold/cylinder head design, there isn't clearance to install the Px35. If I try to install it directly into cylinders 2 or 3, the hex on the Px35 hits the cylinder head. If I try using the "Longer" extension, the Px35 hits the intake manifold.

I'm wondering what people think about using a flexible extension. I was thinking about buying one of the Pico WPS500 flexible hoses (https://www.picoauto.com/products/press ... ssion-hose) and finding a way to adapt it over to attach the Px35. The obvious downsides to this would be that the extension would be longer, and the hose may expand slightly under pressure.

Has anyone tried anything like this? Would this significantly affect the resulting waveform? Would the Px script be accurate with this setup? Are there any other methods that I haven't thought of for attaching the Px35 to this vehicle?

Hi,
You can purchase a flexible hose designed for the px35 pressure transducer directly from manufacturer.

It comes with two adapters: M12 and M14.
It is made from a high pressure hydraulics hose DIN 20022/EN 853 with the minimum possible damping effect on the resulting waveform.

The sensitivity of this extension is compensated in the USB Oscilloscope software, so the Px script results will be accurate.

It doesn't have any part number, just called M12/M14 flexible extension.
Yes, when using flexible extension, select Px+Longer mode.
